On your first turn: Start your train by placing a domino that matches the engine in the Starter Hub slot closest to you. The matching side should be facing the engine. No match? Draw a domino from the Boneyard. Tie? Play it immediately. Still no match? Keep it in your hand. On subsequent turns, add a "playable domino" to your train, the Mexican train, or any "open" train. A domino is playable when it matches the end of the train you're adding to.
