From Schmidt's Drei Magier line, Roller Ghoster teaches kids about risk management using a similar mechanic to Fireball Island. Players can choose the inner track as they race upwards, which is longer but much safer from flying objects. Or, players choose the outer track which is a faster path to the top – but a much higher risk of getting hit by a flying object and sending them back to the start.
With each throw, players twist the top of the tower, releasing marbles that descend from the mansion toward the players' ghost meeples as they attempt to climb to the top. Will you choose the safe, slow path, or trade speed for the risk of collision?
