Raccoons are intelligent little predators. They learn very quickly and have a good memory. These omnivores are active at night and feed on small animals such as insects, cockroaches, worms or fish, but also plants, fruits and nuts. Before winter, raccoons store fat.
Fun fact: With their slender fingers, raccoons can undo shoelaces.
