Jessie Elliot is afraid of her shadow

My name is Jessie Elliot. I'm a nerd and I'm always reading, mostly Archie comics. This is my last summer as a kid. In the fall, I'll be starting high school, Polyvalente Maisonneuve. There, the kids all act like they don't care. They hang around with their sweaty faces and their eyes made up like raccoons, hurling insults at each other.
