The Schleich® DINOSAURS Brontosaurus is one of the most famous herbivorous dinosaurs of the Upper Jurassic.
The Schleich® DINOSAURS brontosaurus has a long tail, a massive body and a slender neck. The dinosaur weighed around 15 tonnes and was about 22 metres long. A brontosaurus skeleton has been found to date, but no skull. However, it is likely that its head was small, like that of the apatosaurus. The name brontosaurus means "thunder lizard". Researchers once thought that the dinosaur cracked its tail like a whip.
