During the day, goats' pupils are reduced to two almost rectangular horizontal slits.
This allows them to protect themselves if the sunlight is too strong. Thanks to their large pupils, they also have a wide field of vision of 320 to 340 degrees and can quickly detect any enemy such as a wolf.
Fun fact: Goats don't see the color blue. For them, the sky is always gray.
