The Schleich® DINOSAURS Mosasaurus was a large marine reptile that inhabited the seas during the Late Cretaceous Period.
The movable jaws of the Schleich® DINOSAURS mosasaurus are equipped with numerous sharp teeth. To catch its prey, such as fish and turtles, the dinosaur opened its mouth wide and then bit down violently. Given the size of its teeth, it probably could not chew, but only swallow. The flipper-like front and back legs are adaptations to its natural environment. In addition, it had a large fin at the end of its tail.
