NEOM is a modern city-building game with simultaneous drawing and tile placement that draws inspiration from games such as 7 Wonders, Carcassonne, and Sim City. Players compete to build the most impressive city using a tree of 17 different assets (of three different levels) that can each be unlocked, allowing for the placement of increasingly powerful tiles as the game progresses. The tiles also feature roads that must be connected without being rotated, meaning players must always plan the layout of their city with the future in mind.
At the start of each game, players draw cornerstones – unique and powerful tiles that dramatically change what is most valuable from game to game.
