The red panda from Schleich® Wild Life has a striped tail, reddish-brown fur and powerful legs with sharp claws.
The red panda is a small mammal that lives in the eastern Himalayas and southwestern China and feeds mainly on bamboo. Like the red panda from Schleich® Wild Life, it looks like a cross between raccoon, fox and cat at first glance. Despite its name, however, it is not a panda. Scientists have created for him a specific family of animals called Ailurus.
