Young Giganotosaurus lived in packs and quickly became dangerous hunters. Giganotosaurus grew to be almost as large as the largest carnivores in Earth's history: Spinosaurus. The name Giganotosaurus means Southern Giant Lizard because this dinosaur was found in South America, in Argentina.
Fun fact: Due to its enormous size, Giganotosaurus had no natural enemies.
