Chimpanzees excel at solving puzzles and using tools. They make spoon-shaped sticks to eat honey or crack nuts with a stone. In order not to hurt their fingers, they move on their knuckles, using only the middle phalanges.
Fun fact: Chimpanzees are among the few animals that can recognize themselves in a mirror.
