The hippopotamus family grows with the young hippopotamus from Schleich® Wild Life!
Hippos are large, heavy herbivores. They live in Africa near rivers and lakes. The young are often born in water and are often even fed underwater. At birth, they already have strong legs, like those of the hippopotamus from Schleich® Wild Life, and can already walk shortly afterwards. After a few weeks, the impressive tusks of these mammals begin to grow.
