Rustik's Classic Wooden Backgammon is one of the oldest known board games. This game combines strategy and luck (dice rolls). Although the dice alone can determine the course of a game, a player using strategy could easily obtain better results over several games, much like poker. With each roll of the dice, players must strategically choose from multiple possible options to move their pieces and anticipate possible counter-moves from their opponent. If they wish, players can integrate the doubling die (cube or dice) into their game, which reduces the duration of a game while reinforcing the strategic side of the game.
